Limited Lifetime Installation Warranty (Floors)

What is covered

Defects in the workmanship of the installation Exodus Home performed, for as long as the original purchaser owns the home where the floor was installed. Examples include seams, fastening, and installation-related movement that trace back to how the floor was installed.

What is not covered

Subfloor movement, settling, or moisture originating in the structure, slab, plumbing, or exterior; product defects, which are handled through the manufacturer's warranty; normal wear, fading, scratching, denting, and indentation; damage from pets, casters, furniture without protection, or improper cleaning products or methods; flooding and water intrusion; and alterations, repairs, or removal performed by anyone other than Exodus Home.

How to file a claim

Email engage@exodushome.com or call (216) 245-2341 with your name, the installation address, the approximate date of installation, a description of the concern, and photographs where possible.

Please report promptly, leave the affected area as it is where practical, and avoid repairs by others before we review, since work by others can void coverage on that area.

Our remedy

For a covered defect, Exodus Home will repair or reinstall the affected area at our option and at no labor cost to you. Replacement material may differ in shade or run from the original installation, which is not a defect.

Transferability

This warranty covers the original purchaser only. It is not transferable and is void if the balance is unpaid.

Exclusive remedy and disclaimer

Repair or reinstallation of the affected area is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by Ohio law, implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed or limited to the duration of this warranty, and Exodus Home is not liable for consequential or incidental damages.

Relationship to manufacturer warranties

This warranty covers installation workmanship only. It does not extend, replace, or modify any manufacturer product warranty. See the Manufacturer Warranties page.
